Our K-Taping Support Treatment involves the application of kinesiology tape (K-Tape) to support and stabilise muscles and joints without restricting movement. It is an effective therapeutic tool for managing a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and improving athletic performance.

BILLING & DIRECT BILLING

K-Taping Support Treatment is typically not covered by extended health benefits, although it is eligible for use with health spending accounts. While we can't offer direct billing for this service, we encourage our clients to see this as an investment in their health and wellbeing.

INDICATIONS FOR TREATMENT

This treatment is beneficial for those experiencing muscle tension, joint instability, swelling, or if you're in the process of recovering from an injury. It's also useful for athletes looking to optimise their performance and prevent injury.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

K-Taping may not be suitable for individuals with skin conditions, allergies to the tape's adhesive, or those with specific injuries requiring immobilisation. Please inform our Kinesiologist about any existing medical conditions to ensure this treatment is safe for you.

After the K-Taping session, clients can expect improved muscle function, reduced pain and swelling, and enhanced movement. Regular sessions can support injury recovery and help optimise athletic performance.
