Our Ultrasound Support Treatment is a non-invasive therapy that uses sound waves to stimulate the body's healing process, increase blood flow, and decrease pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms.

BILLING & DIRECT BILLING

Ultrasound Support Treatment is typically not covered by extended health benefits, but it is eligible for use with health spending accounts. We don't offer direct billing for this service, but we encourage our clients to view this as a worthwhile investment in their health and wellbeing.

INDICATIONS FOR TREATMENT

This treatment is beneficial for individuals dealing with chronic pain, muscle tension, injuries involving soft tissues like ligaments, tendons, or muscles, and those looking to speed up the recovery process.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Ultrasound therapy should be avoided by individuals with certain medical conditions, including malignancies, vascular disorders, and acute infections. It's also not recommended for areas with sensory deficits. Always inform our Kinesiologist of any pre-existing conditions.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

Post-session, clients can expect a reduction in pain and inflammation, improved mobility, and an acceleration in the healing process. Regular sessions can support recovery and overall wellbeing.

THERAPY DELIVERY

Our Kinesiologist will initiate a consultation to understand your specific concerns. The ultrasound device is then used on the targeted area, emitting sound waves that penetrate the tissues and stimulate the body's healing process.
